Parenting is difficult.
You don’t have to do it alone.
Parenting is often a lightning rod for anxiety and past trauma.
I can help you identify your values, recognize your triggers, forge stronger relationships, and build positive family dynamics.
Parenting Support
As an early intervention specialist and parenting coach for 17 years, I have extensive experience working with children, parents, and families.
My approach is not one-size-fits-all.
Every family comes to me with a unique set of strengths, challenges, and values. I offer my expertise in child development, a vast array of strategies, and my training as a therapist. I invite you to bring your expertise in your own child. Together we will explore your relationship with your child, the rhythms of your family, and your child’s temperament and needs.
Parenting is the most difficult job you will ever have. Most of us do it without training, without support, and often without a break. External pressures such as heteronormativity, gender roles, racism, and capitalism can make you feel judged by others, uncertain, exhausted, and stuck in roles you did not choose. Internal pressure to avoid or recreate your own childhood experiences adds to your stress.
I will provide the support you need to strengthen relationships, foster positive interactions, build joyful daily routines, communicate effectively, and feel confidence in your values and decisions.
Let’s pay attention to what feels right to you.
You can become the parent you want to be.
“Many parents see behavior as the measure of who our kids are, rather than using behavior as a clue to what our kids might need.”
